Started trying to hook the SC API into the gatekeeper service but need to think about how to get envvars in.

Responded to some messages. Amended SP-4620 (upload of hierarchical data with obscore metadata). Rucio PRs. Workshop submission for Rucio. Other bits.

Refactored permissions API to allow for "authorise by plugin" endpoint, allowing each service to have its own set of rules as to whether access should be authorised.

For e.g. SODA, this is done by service group membership (/services/soda/) AND also data related groups (/data/namespaces//owner|editor|viewer)

Some changes to site-capabilities API to enable this. Laying more groundwork on what needs to be sent to permissions api for this call to make sense.

Moved relevant docs to docs.srcdev.skao.int/operator Migrated FTS to use RAL's.

FTS transfers work with IAM tokens. Created clients + updated secrets, circulated message.

Continued gitlab reorganisation.

08/08/2024 - capi.mk targets

Testing capi makefile targets. Seems to fail on capi-deploy:

Tested our storage with SKA IAM tokens. Works. Waiting on another storage to test a transfer then can begin migration stories.
